Nigerian Afropop singer, Paul Okoye of PSquare, has said he was single for four years after he and Anita got divorced.
Paul aka Rudeboy, said his marriage ended a long time ago but many people were not aware because he kept it private.
He explained that after getting a divorce, he remained single for four years before meeting his girlfriend, Ivy Ifeoma.
It was reported over a week ago that Paul and Anita finalised their divorce after an Abuja High Court in Maitama, granted their request to annul their marriage.
Speaking during an Instagram live session, Paul Okoye asked people criticising him and Ivy to calm down because both of them were not dating when he was still married.
He also hinted that he plans to marry her as he posed a rhetorical question to fans after which he said he would send a wedding invite to the public.

Similarly, CorrectNG reported earlier that comedian, Bright Okpocha popularly known as Basketmouth announced the end of his marriage to Elsie.
He took to his verified Instagram page on Thursday to reveal that he and his wife have decided to get divorced after 12 years together.
Basketmouth noted that it was a psinful but necesary decision and he asked the public to respect their privacy.
He wrote: “For the first and the last time. As much as it pains me to bring my personal life to the public space, this is an unavoidable situation. After much deliberations, my wife and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage.
“As we move forward separately, we will continue to work together to give our beautiful children all the care, love, guidance and support they need. We humbly ask that you respect our privacy as we navigate through these times. Thank you.”
