Popular Nigerian songstress, Temilade Openiyi, aka Tems, has revealed that Canadian rapper, Drake did not attempt to shoot his shot at her when they met last year.
Recall that Tems linked up with Drake in September 2021, the same year he featured her on one of his songs.
The duo were spotted having lunch with his team at an undisclosed place and fans started to speculate that something was brewing between them.
Speaking about their relationship during a Beat FM interview, Tems said that he did not woo her neither did her attempt to have anything more than friendship.
She made this known when the Radio hosts questioned about whether he had pursued her when they met.
Tems, however said “no” and noted that Drake is someone who is friendly with everyone so long as they are genuine with him.
She also said that she sees every guy as a brother, so, for that fact, she is the kind of person who brotherzones everyone.

Meanwhile, the award-winning singer had earlier revealed that she cooked for Drake when she first met him.
The ‘Try Me’ crooner made this known while having a question and answer session with fans on microblogging site, Twitter.
Ahead of her sophomore EP, which she was preparing to releae at the time, Tems responded to their questions with the hashtag #AskTems.
When a fan asked about her experience with Drake, she revealed that she cooked rice and chicken stew for the rapper and his team.
She also said that even though the pepper in the stew affected them, they loved her meal.
She wrote; “I cooked chicken stew and rice for them. The pepper choke them small, but they loved it. #AskTems”
Tems was featured artistes on the rapper’s song, ‘Fountains’ off his latest album titled; ‘Certified Lover Boy’.
