American rapper, songwriter, actress, and television personality, Cardi B who currently is in Nigeria for her LivespotX Festival concert on Saturday in Lagos, took to her Instagram story upon her arrival yesterday to post a short video, stating that Nigeria looked so much like her native Dominican Republic.
Cardi was heard saying “Mehn we are in motherf*cking Nigeria yeah, no lies this shit looks like Dominican Republic, this shit looks like DR straightup”.
The 27-year old rapper is the daughter of a Dominican father and Trinidadian and Spanish mother, although she was born in Manhattan and raised in The Bronx, New York City, United States.
