Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface has reportedly gifted the sum of N1.5 million to an old carpenter who recently went viral.
A young man known as Sunday Oladosu shared a video few days ago of the elder showing up to do some wood work after someone in his compound called for a carpenter.
The clip generated massive buzz and social media users were full of praises for the man, as they came up with ways to encourage him financially.
Bayer Leverkusen star, Victor Boniface who was moved by the man’s dedication to his work, decided to support him with one million five hundred naira.
The 23-year-old footballer reached out to the young man that shared the video and sent a total of N2 million to his account. Boniface explained that the N500k was for the boy and he was to give N1.5m to the old man.
Sunday shared screenshots of their chat as well as the transaction receipt to prove that the money was truly sent and received.
The Nigerian player wrote; “I will send you 2m. It’s no stress bro. I saw what you did already. I will send you 2m Give 1.5m for the man And 500k for yourself ok. Drop your acct for me”
In response, Sunday wrote; “Ah am feeling like this is a dream sir. I can’t breathe rn, am just speechless.”
