Veteran NTA newscaster, Aisha Bello is dead

A veteran broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority, (NTA), Aisha Bello Mustapha has passed away.

News of the ace newscaster’s demise was made public by her family on Sunday, 10th of December 2023.

In a statement, Bello’s family said the funeral prayer will be held at Central Mosque in Abuja by 1pm on Monday, December 11th.

They prayed for Allah to forgive the journalist, noting that she will be missed dearly as she was a kind-hearted person.

The statement read; “Innalilahi wa inna Alaihin Rajiun. May Allah forgive our Mother Hajia Aishat Bello Mustapha. Mama indeed you are a very kind-hearted person.

“We will miss you and hope you are enjoying Rahma. Funeral Prayer to be held in central mosque Abuja 1 pm on Monday, 11th December 2023.”

Aisha Bello Mustapha was the General Manager NTA Parliament. She retired in May 2022 after thirty five years in service.

Nigerians on social media mourned her death with heartfelt words.
