Yoruba movie star, Magaret Olayinka, popularly known as Iya Gbonkan, has been gifted a house days after receiving a brand new car by from a UK-based producer, Alexes.
Pastor Agbala Gabriel helped the seasoned actress to complete the construction of the house in Osogbo, Osun state.
She recently launched the newly completed house and a video from the unveiling is circulating on social media.
Iya Gbonkan showed off the house with joy and thanked a pastor who presented it to her.
The veteran actress noted that she was filled with so much joy that she’s not felt hungry for food. She said that she never thought she could live such a beautiful house.
“I haven’t been hungry all day because my joy knows no bounds. I never thought I could live in a good house,” she said.

This is coming few weeks after she lamented about not being able to afford one despite a longstanding career in the movie industry.
In response to her cries, Mustapha Jayeola presented the car on behalf of Alexes Promotions, in Ibadan, said the motive behind the gesture was to encourage her as a legend in the film industry.
Jayeola said; “When we contacted Mama, she said she wanted a car because she is tired of going to locations through commercial motorcycle and public transport. We contacted Alexes Promotions in the UK and she said we should look for a good car for Mama.
”We contacted her immediately when we saw this car, and she paid the money in under 30 minutes yesterday (Wednesday). It was a surprise because we didn’t even tell her that we are presenting her with a car. So, she was so excited when she saw the car here in Ibadan.”
