Seasoned Nollywood actor, Obinna Nwafor, popularly known by his stage name, Saint Obi, has died, aged 57.
According to reports, he died on May 7th after spending several months travelling to the hospital for treatment of an unspecified illness.
A source disclosed that he’s frequently been spotted being transported to the hospital. The source claimed that Saint Obi’s body was taken to the morgue at JUTH a day after he passed away.
Obi is said to have recently relocated to his sister’s home in Jos, Plateau State.
According to reports, there was a disagreement between his siblings which is why his death took almost a week to be made official.
The Imo-born thespian came into prominence in his role in Zeb Eiro’s ‘Sakobi’ and before his demise had featured in over 100 movies.
