VeryDarkman demands royalties from Wizkid for allegedly using his line on a song (Video)
Famous online activist, Martins Vincent Otse better known as VeryDarkMan, has claimed that superstar singer, Wizkid used his viral line on a song.
He said the Grammy winner adopted his slang ‘Dont Play’ and added it to his lyrics in ‘Diamonds’ of his newly released EP, Soundman Vol 2.
VeryDarkman who spoke in a trending video, argued that he deserves to be paid for that even as Wizkid never asked his permission.
The controversial influencer called out Nigerians for not informing him earlier that the Afrobeats singer had used his viral line on a track
He also clarified that he had already trademarked the line and if he takes Wizkid to court he has high chances of winning the case.
He concluded by appreciating the Starboy Entertainment founder for using his line addingthat he’s not forcing the singer to give him money but he will appreciate if he is rewarded.
