US rappers, Kodak Black, Lil Durk pay tribute to Mohbad

American rap stars, Kodak Black and Lil Durk have paid their respects to late Nigerian musician, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The duo joined the long list of celebrities who have mourned the artiste that passed away last Tuesday at the age of 27.

Lil Durk mourns Mohbad

Kodak Black sent his condolences during an live Instagram session when a fan commented that he was Mohbad’s neigbourhood hero till he passed.

The rapper, however, noted that he only just stumbled on Mohbad’s page days before the unfortunate event.

The fan wrote; “R.I.P to Mohbad. Kodak you were his neighborhood hero till he passing. Damn!

Kodak said; “What’s so crazzy right now is I just ran across this n*gga’s page this week -few days ago-Sleep well wherever you are, man.”

Similarly, Lil Duck paid moutned the late Nigerian rapper via his social media pages on Tuesday.

He wrote; “RIP Mohbad aka Imole.”

Mohbad’s sudden demise shrouded in controversy has generated uproar and a demand for justice to be served if he did not die of natural causes especially considering how videos of him being harassed by some figures surfaced online.
