US rapper, Corey Jah confesses about faking his daughter’s death for 2 years to promote his music

American Hip Hop artiste, Corey Jah has revealed that he lied about his daughter’s death for two years in order to promote his music career.

The Richmond rapper tendered a public apology in a trending video he posted on his social media page.

Corey said his daughter is alive and well in Virginia and he only lied that she was dead in other to get sympathy from people to listen, stream his music and attend his shows.

He said nobody is aware of what he did, but the girl has been in his house. The music act sid he wants people to know that he’s human at the end of the day and made a mistake.

“My daughter is definitely still alive and she’s here in Richmond. I just wanna really really let people know that I’m human, I made a mistake,” Corey said.

The Delta State Police Command has disclosed that a teenager, Ade Segun was arrested for planning his own kidnap alongside two of his friends in Warri.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, in a series of tweets on Friday, said the suspect, 17, demanded the sum of N2m from his parents as ransom.

Edafe identified the suspect’s friends as Precious and Nonso.

He explained that Precious and Nonso called Ade’s parent, and demanded the ransom to free their supposedly kidnapped son Segun.

The police explained that the parent reported at the police station in Warri, where a female police officer played along, pretending to pay the ransom money.

When the undercover policemen got to the location, they laid ambush and Precious came to pick the money.

He was rounded up and arrested and took the police officers to the hideout where Ade and Nonso were arrested and confessed that it was all planned.

Edafe said; “The suspect, Ade Segun, planned his own kidnapped alongside two of his friends, Precious and Nonso, called Ade’s parents, and demanded the sum of N2,000,000.

The parents reported at the police station in Warri, where a woman police played along, pretending to pay the ransom money.

“When the undercover policemen got to the location, they laid ambush and one of them precious came to pick the money, he was rounded up and arrested, he took them to the hideout where Ade and his other friend were arrested and confessed that it was all planned.”
