The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Tuesday confirmed 304 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
With the announcement, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria rose to 44433 with 31851 discharged and 910 deaths.
The previous day, 288 new cases were reported which made the total cases to stand at 44123 with 20663 discharged patients as at Monday night.
That means in a space of one day, 11,188 patients were discharged. This raised some concerns from Nigerians as to whether the federal government had gotten a vaccine or were secretly using a special treatment method which they refused to share with the public.
Giving the breakdown on Tuesday, NCDC wrote; “FCT-90, Lagos-59, Ondo-39, Taraba-18, Rivers-17, Borno-15, Adamawa-12, Oyo-11, Delta-9, Edo-6, Bauchi-4, Kwara-4, Ogun-4, Osun-4, Bayelsa-3, Plateau-3, Niger-3, Nasarawa-2, Kano-1 with 44,433 confirmed, 31,851 discharged and 910 deaths.”
