Two aircrafts collide at Murtala Muhammed International Airport

A Middle East Airlines and Turkish Airlines aircraft on Wednesday had a wings collision  at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

According to a report by Independent Nigeria, the incident occurred at night, and a source close to the place of the incident revealed that it led to the grounding of the two aircraft at the airport.

The airport source further revealed that the incident occurred when Middle East airplane was coming to park on the apron while that of Turkish Airlines was planning to depart from the airport.
