Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike has threatened to flog former Niger state governor, Babangida Aliyu for calling him a dictator.
Aliyu, a PDP chieftain, said in an interview last week that a certain “dictator in Rivers State” was behind the travails of the Peoples Democratic Party National Chairman, Uche Secondus because of a “personal ambition to either become Vice President or a political godfather.”
In response, Wike was heard in a viral video threatening to flog Aliyu for his statement.
He also accused the former Governor of being “a political liability and working against the party in the 2015 presidential election.”
“Aliyu thinks it was that time they were moving around saying they are fighting PDP, I’ll flog the h*ll out of him..” Wike added.
