Trending video: FRSC official slaps motorist after being accused of breaking his windscreen

An official of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has been captured on tape assaulting a man who alleged that he broke his windshield.

The motorist was chastising the FRSC official for the damage done to his car and was filming him in the process.

The incident happened in Osun state, though it is yet to be confirmed if the corps operative actually destroyed the car windshield.

In order to prevent his face from showing in the clip, the uniformed man than lunged a slap at the man, nearly destroying his recording device.

This caused the situation to escalate as the motorist started raising alarm and shouting at the top of his voice.

The victim made sure to take note of the official’s name tag and promised to take up the matter with relevant authorities till he is disciplined.

The incident is trending because it happened amid a case of assault involving Afrobeats singer, Seun Kuti, who slapped a police officer.
