Tinubu video-calls Super Eagles players ahead of Angola quarter-final clash (Watch)

President Bola Tinubu has given words of encouragement to Super Eagles ahead of their quarter-final tie with Angola at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON.

Tinubu spoke with the players through video call on Friday evening, February 2nd as they prepared to face Angola by 6pm at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan.

Seyi Tinubu posted a video on his Instagram page of the call the president had with the Nigerian national team even as he is currently in France.

He expressed his support for Peseiro’s side and hoed for the team to win the match. This is coming after the Super Eagles’ impressive 2-0 victory over Cameroon in the Round of 16.
