Tinubu appoints Ajuri Ngelale as Special Adviser on Media and Publicity

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of seasoned journalist, Ajuri Ngelale as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.

This was made known via a statement by the Director of Information Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF), Willie Bassey.

The appointment takes effect from Monday 31st of July 31 2023, and would terminate at the end of this administration unless otherwise decided by the President.

Tinubu urged Ngelale to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the new assignment.

The statement reads; “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has approved the appointment of Chief Ajuri Ngelale as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

“The appointment takes effect from 31st July, 2023 and would terminate at the end of this administration unless otherwise decided by the President. The President urges him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the new assignment”.

Ngelale worked in the office of ex-Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo as Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs in the immediate past government.

He was also the Assistant Principal Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APCPCC) for the 2023 general elections.
