Nigerian R&B and gospel singer, Timi Dakolo has reportedly be appointed as a senior aide by the newly inaugurated governor of Bayelsa State, Duoye Dirir.
Recall that the singer only recently signed a recording deal with Virging EMI Record, a British label owned by the World famous Universal Music Group.
The new government in Bayelsa saw him fitting enough for the role of special adviser to Bayelsa State Government on entertainment.
The Duoye Diri led state government was inaugurated on valentine’s day last week after the Supreme Court nullified the election of David Lyon of the APC.
The popular singer gave a hint on the appointment this afternoon on his social media page, while actor, Dakore Akande led other celebrities to congratulate him.
