Three bank buildings set ablaze in Lekki, Lagos

Three new generational bank buildings were on Tuesday night, set ablaze along the Admiralty Way in Lekki, Lagos state.

The banks have been identified to be Access, GTB and Polaris bank branches.

Business premises, shopping malls and shops were also reportedly looted by suspected hoodlums in the area.

These incidents happened in reaction to the shootings by security personnel at #EndSARS protesters demonstrating against police brutality at the Lekki area of the state.

The #EndSARS protests rocking the country have continued for almost two weeks with youths calling for a lasting reform of the Nigeria Police Force.
