There’s too much jealousy among Igbos – Actor, Yul Edochie

Controversial Nigerian actor and politician, Yul Edochie, has said there is too much jealousy and envy among people of his ethnic group, the Igbos.

The Nollywood star shared this assertion through his verified Facebook page on Wednesday and explained why he made the claim.

Yul Edochie said anytime an Igbo person is progressing in anything he delves into in life, his biggest hater would be a fellow Igbo person.

Yul envy Igbos

The seasoned actor, who hails from Anambra State, stressed that a successful Igbo man’s enemy might be members of his family.

He called on his fellow Igbo indigenes to change and do better, asking them to stop the envy and the competition.

“Too much jealousy and envy amongst Igbos. Why?? If you’re doing well as an Igbo person, your biggest hater is your fellow Igbo person.

“Sometimes even your family members. Igbos we need to do better. Why? We’re great. Stop the envy. Stop the competition. Things change when we address them,” he wrote.

Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has said the Presidential candidate of Labour Party in 2023, Peter Obi can never be president of Nigeria again.

He made the assertion in a statement by his media aide, Oluwatosin Osho, adding that Igbo people can’t produce Nigeria’s next president.

The clergyman said Obi had missed his chance of ruling Nigeria in 2023 and 2027 because he failed to do the right thing at the appropriate time.

Ayodele also said his case at the Supreme Court is dead on arrival because it will be thrown out by the judges. He added that the people encouraging the former Anambra state governor are spiritually blindfolded.

According to the Primate, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is more powerful than the Labour Party flagbearer, spiritually.
