There’s no true love in Lagos – Blaqbonez shares

Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule, professionally known as Blaqbonez, has shared his observation about the relationship scene in Lagos state.

He issued an advisory note to men and women seeking to settle down with someone that they cannot find “true love” in the commercial capital.

The ‘Back In Uni’ crooner made the assertion in a recent chat with podcaster, Fay Fay while mentioning some states he’s visited and seen genuine love.

Blaqbonez said he has seen true love in Nasarawa and Adamawa states, as well as a sprinkle in Akwa Ibom state but maintained it doesn’t exist in Lagos.

He said; “I have seen true love in other states. You know, like Nasarawa, Yola [Adamawa]… I think I have seen a little bit in Akwa Ibom, but I have never witnessed it in Lagos.”

It may be recalled that in February 2022, the artiste unveiled his girlfriend, Gbemi Daniel, online, stating that it feels wrong to continue to hide her from the world as she was there when nobody else was there for him.

He also shared a romantic video compilation of himself and Gbemi with the caption; “Love is beautiful when you find the right one. It feels wrong to continue to hide you from the world cos last year when I lost my brother no one else was there for me but you.”

Meanwhile, a young man who traveled to Calabar weeks ago to search for love, has given feedback on social media.

CorrectNG reported that the digital marketer traveled from Lagos to Cross River state for the sole purpose of looking for women with big derriere to fall in love with.

The man known on Twitter as @kayzywizzzy, shared a screenshot of his chat with a friend who suggested he should leave his city.

He had cried out to his friend that he was tired of the single life and he was not sure he would find true love in Lagos state.

The content promoter said he needed a slim pretty lady with big backside and his buddie told him that whatever his spec is, she can be found in Calabar.

@kayzywizzzy decided to fly out to Cross River the next day to commence his search for the woman of his dreams.

He shared a photo of him at the entry to Calabar and captioned the post: “Chasing my dreams ✈️”

Taking to his Twitter page on May 17, he said Calabar girls made him realise that they don’t have love to give but they can offer him their derriere.

Kay Wizzy, however, added that he rejected their enticing offer. He shared a selfie of himself with two curvy ladies by his side and wrote;

“Update. Calabar girls said they don’t have true love to offer me Only Big bum bum.”

I rejected both of them tho, going to akwa ibom next to look for true love like you guys said, I go Tavel all the state to find true love.”
