Popular Nigerian singer and record label founder, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun aka Wizkid, has once lamented over the loss of his mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun.
CorrectNG reports that the multi award-winning artiste lost his mum to the cold hands of death on 18th of August 2023.
Five months after she passed away and Wizkid still grieves, saying that he can no longer feel himself when he looks at his reflection in the mirror.
The ‘Joro’ crooner took to his Instagram story and said her death came with an expensive pain and since she left, he has lost himself. Wizkid, however, added he can’t wait to find himself again.
Big Wiz wrote; “Look in the mirror don’t feel myself! Mama left me and I lost myself! Can’t wait to feel myself again! Life of a soldier! Military wit it!. Expensive”

Meanwhile, this comes weeks after CorrectNG reported that the Grammy winning singer opened up on how he’s been coping since he lost his mother.
The family held funeral service on October 12, for her which had a good number of friends and coworkers in attendance.
Speaking on life after her passing, the Starboy Entertainment founder admitted that life has become meaningless without her.
But Wizkid crooner who was close to his dear mum added that sometimes it is good to let everything go, hence why he will move on regardless of how he feels.
Taking to Instastories, the ‘Joro’ crooner wrote; “Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life’s been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes you got to let everything go… Work with God.”
Similar, during the funeral, Wizkid, who gave a heartfelt speech amid sobbing, said he is lost without his mother and he loves her dearly.
“I’m lost without you, Mom. I love you so much. I love you”, he said.
