Nigerian reality TV star, DeeOne has claimed that aside from popular show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, no other ex-BBNaija housemate earns more than him from events.
The Big Brother Naija 2018 contestant said colleague, Tobi Bakre, who is now an actor, also earns close to what he makes for working as an anchor or MC.
DeeOne stated this in a video shared via his Instagram page amid an online clash with winner of the 2022 edition, Josephina Otabor also known as Phyna.
He said; “Before you wake up this morning, I would have made N3 million. This morning I’m working for Coca-Cola at one of the most prestigious hotels in Lagos.
“The only person wey dey collect money for events pass me for Big Brother Nigeria na Ebuka. The next person wey dey close wey dey charge close to me na Tobi Bakre. We no dey use numbers take do am.”
He also joined some other entertainers who disclosed that people in the industry often live fake life and deceive their fans.
The comic act said; “I have been doing this for years, I just say make clear some people. Your celebrities feed you with fake life, this is the real DeeOne you lots don’t know. Please give me some minutes when I’m done I’ll come back to disturb the online space again.”
