Popular Talk show host and Chelsea FC fan, Frank Edoho has taken a heavy swipe at Manchester United football club.

The former anchor of famous Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show, has mocked the Red Devils for spending huge sums of money on players who turn out to be flops.

He  took the jab when a fan of the club attempted to mock the host’s favourite team, Chelsea.

According to Edoho, the issue of United spending £325m on ex-players Lukaku, Di Maria, Fred, Mkhitaryan, Depay and giving £505,000 a week to Alexis Sanchez whom he described as the ‘‘most expensive pianist in the world.” is proof that “Big money flops are part of the club’s glorious history.

The Man United fan, @UTDTrey tweeted:

“Friendly reminder that Chelsea spent £327m on Torres,Morata,Drinkwater,
Bakayoko and Kepa

Big money flops aren’t new to the club,don’t be too worried about the signings.”

Then Frank Edoho fired back;

“Since we are all mad on this app.

A friendly reminder that Manchester United spent £325m on Lukaku, Di Maria, Fred, Mkhitaryan, Depay and £505,000 a week to the most expensive pianist in the world.

Big money flops are part of the club’s glorious history.”
