Speed Darlington rants after village people removed his ‘wife-search’ signpost

Internet personality, Darlington Okoye, better known as Speed Darlington has cried out after his village elders took down the signpost he erected in his hometown to declare his search for a wife.

The signpost in his village contained his features, qualities and attributes. It also showed listed the qualities he is looking for in a woman.

Speaking after it had been removed, Speed Darlington accused the elders of trying to prevent him from getting married.

He explained that his search for a wife is a serious one, and the elders who did that already have wives but do not want him to have one like them.

Akpi as he is fondly called also stressed that he didn’t appreciate what they did and they should see him as a small man as he is actually well to do.

The rapper said had asked his mother’s sister to bring down the church she built on a land which belongs to him, but she refused and instead issued him death threats.

In the video he shared online, Speedy, who is a native of Arondizuogu in Imo state, revealed that the woman whom he identified simply as Chinasa, took over the land shortly after he travelled to the United States in 2001.

He recounted how the land was allocated to him in 1996 when he was still a boy, the and claimed that Chinasa has been holding meetings, hatching plans for his death.

Speed Darlington, however, said he won’t die before her because she’s older than him and if she moves on with the plan against him, he would be forced to seek other diabolic means to defend himself.
