Somebody told him that I slept with his babe – Shatta Wale speaks on beef with Burna Boy

Ghanaian music star, Shatta Wale has opened up on the reason he fell out with Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Damini “Burna Boy” Ogulu.

He said they used to be close friends, but the rift between them started after a former employee told Burna Boy that he (Shatta) slept with his girlfriend.

Speaking during a recent interview on radio, Shatta Wale expressed disappointment that the ‘Last Last’ crooner did not see the need to inquiry from him if he genuinely slept with his babe.

He said they were so close that he thought that was what the Grammy winner would have done, only for the ‘African Giant’ to believe the disgruntled ex-staff that he sacked.

According to him, he would try to find out if anything was wrong, and Burna would dismiss his concerns, only for him to be complaining to other people and he was hearing about it.

Shatta Wale said; “Burna Boy heard from one of my guy that I sacked that I slept with his girlfriend. You see he is my G, him for call me.” Shatta Wale said in the clip.

Him dey tell people things about me and him no dey tell me, but I dey hear am from them. There’s no way I’ve watched Burna and felt some type of way”

Meanwhile, CorrectNG recalls that the rapper said in an earlier interview that Burna Boy is his brother, but he is ill-informed about certain things.

The Ghanaian entertainer stated this while talking about possible plans to move forward with their friendship after ending their rift.

Shatta Wale reiterated that the African Giant will always be his brother and he cannot do any anything other than to be supportive.

He also addressed the issue of his song sounding similar to Burna Boy’s Last Last, using a family analogy about how siblings have similarities which is why their music sound alike.
