Big Brother Naija season 7 winner, Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna has said some people were of the opinion that she did not deserve to win the reality show.
Speaking during an Instagram live session, the reality star said that after she was crowned champion of the 2022 edition, critics said she was too local to win BBNaija.
Phyna, however, said she prayed, and God ordained it for her to emerge this season ‘s winner after having gone for auditions four times and failing to be selected.
She also recalled how her Instagram followers grew from 15,000 to 1 million between the time she went on the show and today.
The Edo born brand ambassador also advised her fans to live in peace and harmony so that they can make heaven.
Phyna said; “I went into the Big Brother house with just 15,0000 followers on Instagram. And now, I have one million followers. Some people said I was local and did not deserve to win the show. (They) should go and tell God that I did not deserve to win the show.
I am on my own. I just prayed to God, and He helped me after four years (of trying to be on the show). I got into the house and was myself. I won and was given the prize money, yet some people are.”
Speaking further, the BBNaija winner expressed excitement that comedian, Broda Shaggi featured her on a comedy skit.
She added “My skit with Broda Shaggi has a lot of views. Even if Broda Shaggi does not write a script, I will write one.”
