Meanwhile, a Nigerian doctor popularly known on Twitter as Dr Penking, has shared the story of a man undergoing vasectomy only to discover that his three children are not his biologically.

A vasectomy is a surgical procedure of cutting or sealing the tubes that carry a man’s spermatozoa to permanently prevent him from fertilizating a woman.

Penking said the man in question contacted him last February for consultation about getting vasectomy done and he assured that it is a safe procedure.

The man had already welcomed three children, a boy and two girls so he and his wife decided to stop procreation.

Fast-forward to 8th of January 2023, and he sent Dr Penking DNA test results showing that all the children are not his.

The doctor said guilty conscience has been pricking him till date because he recommended the vasectomy which means the man can no longer have kids of his own.

He added that he read the DNA result and saw that the chances of the man being father of the 3 kids was zero, and since then he has not been able to reply the man’s message.

Penking wrote; “I’ve battled so much to avoid saying this but I still got to say it because the guilt is enveloping me. February 11,2022 at 9:40am, a young man approached me here on Twitter and asked to consult me. I gave him instructions and after making payment I set up a virtual consultation.

It was nothing serious, he just wanted to inquire about how safe vasectomy is. He had completed his family size, a boy and 2 beautiful girls. I assured him that it is completely safe with no major side effects apart from mild discomfort and some bruising which can actually be well-managed . I went ahead to encourage him that it is a sacrifice he can make for his wife to spare her the clouds of disruptions associated with female hormonal contraceptives. I felt even more pity for the woman when I learnt that all the 3 children were birthed through CS..”
