Nigerian singer and rapper, Skales on Monday, sparked mixed reactions online with his declaration of love for Afrobeats star, Davido.
The ‘Shake Body’ crooner took to his Twitter page on 1st of January 2024 and stated that he loves the Omo Baba Olowo ‘too much.’
His statement generated a lot of buzz particularly because he was very close to former label mate, Wizkid, who had been an arch rival to Davido up until last December when they squashed their rift.
Skales shared a video of Davido having fun in the club with his DMW crew, and aide, Israel singing along to Asake’s song.
“Love David too much @davido,” Skales wrote.
Some fans opined that he was just ‘famzing’ OBO , while others believed he was trying to diss Wizkid, because there are rumours that the two former label mates aren’t on good terms.
