He was charged with five counts bordering on assault before the court presided over by the chief magistrate, A.S Shoneye.

Portable, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Delivering his ruling, the presiding judge said the offences are bailable and granted him bail with bail bond of N300,000 and N500,000 as well two sureties who must reside within the jurisdiction of the honorable court.

The case was adjourned to April 26 for hearing.

After perfecting his bail conditions, Portable was released and one of the things he did was to share his prison experience in a song titled ‘Federal Government Liability’.

In a snippet of the song he shared on Instagram, Portable bragged that he didn’t wear a prison uniform while at the correctional centre.

Celebrating his freedom with the lyrics, the controversial musician stated that he is a child of grace who can never be disgraced.
