Multi award-winning Highlife singer and songwriter, Chinedu Okoli also known by his stage name, Flavour has lost his father, Mr Okoli.
The ‘Ada Ada’ crooner announced the sad passing of his dad on Wednesday, May 22, through his official Twitter (X) account.
Flavour shared a video from the last moment with his father during which the man in a wheelchair listened to his son play the guitar and sing.
In the caption of the post, the 40-year-old artiste prayed for the soul of his father to rest well.
He wrote; “Chukwu wetelu. Chukwu ewelugo. 🕊️🕯️ Nna m 💔 Papa Ijele. Rest well 🕊️”

This is coming days after CorrectNG reported that popular rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie better known as Erigga, lost his father.
He had announced the sad news of his passing through his official Twitter account on Tuesday, 21st of May 2024.
Erigga, while mourning in the post, stated that his father had tried in his lifetime and wished for him to rest in peace.
“Rest in peace Pop man 🍃💨 you try e no easy 💔💔💔💔💔💔”, he wrote.
