Nigerian singer, Chukwuka Ekweani, professionally known as CKay has become a homeowner in a highbrow area of Lagos state.
The artiste announced the acquisition of a beautiful house via his official Twitter and Instagram pages on Wednesday, April 5th.
Ckay expressed gratitude while recounting how he left home in 2014 and squatted with a friend in Surulere, Lagos.
Fast-forward to 2023, and he is now a proud landlord and noted that he had no regrets for leaving his family almost a decade ago.
The ‘Love Nwantiti’ crooner shared some pictures showing his new crib and the old building in Surulere, where he lived nine years ago.
He captioned; “2023 vs 2014. came a really long way. grateful. HALLELUJAH out on friday! 😇✨’
The ‘Love Nwantiti’ crooner also dished some words of motivation to people that they should never give up because they could be closer to achieving their dreams and aspirations than they could ever imagine.
CKay added; “In 2014 I ran away from home and stayed with a friend in one room in this building… That’s where it all began, zero regrets.”
“Don’t give up I swear you’re close than you think.”
