Former Nigerian senator, Shehu Sani has taken to social media to react to the recently unveiled rice pyramid by the President Muhammadu Buhari administration.
The pyramid which was unveiled in Abuja on Tuesday by President Buhari, is a collaboration between the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and RIFAN under the CBN’s Anchor Borrowers Program.
Reacting, to the development, Sani who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th national assembly, tacitly called out the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led federal government over the sustainability of the recent rice pyramid launch.
He expressed concerns that the bags of rice may disappear as he pointed at some projects that suddenly faded away under Buhari’s government after their launch.
According to the Kaduna State governorship hopeful, the made in Nigeria electric car that was launched last year cannot be heard of again.
He also pointed out that a Made In Nigeria phone that was launched by the President some months ago has also disappeared.
“Made in Nigeria phone was launched and it disappeared. Nigeria’s electric car was launched and it disappeared; We hope the Pyramid of Abuja will not toe the line of the phone and the car,” Sani tweeted.
