Following the federal government’s directive in March that schools be shutdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, several proprietors have found their schools looking desolate while some seek new ways to re-purpose theirs.
Such is the case of a school in Borno state which is being utilized as a poultry farm.
A Twitter user, Olusegun Iselaiye, shared some photos like the one above, showing a school which was made into a poultry farm in a Borno community.
In the photos, desks and chairs used for learning are seen arranged into a corner as room is being made for the habitation of livestock. Tools naturally being used in a poultry farm are being utilized in the classroom that was initially built for learning.
