Nigerian content creator and actor, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel better known as Sabinus, has pledged to empower an old carpenter who went viral for his commitment to his job.
The carpenter was recently filmed by a young man known as Sunday, who saw him working in his compound and was moved by his zeal despite his age.
He observed that the man was looking quite malnourished and decided to share his man’s plight online, which brought about emotional reaction and donations.
The clip was captioned; “Saw this baba who came to do carpentry work for my compound tears fall for my eye wish I could help him.”
On seeing the clip, Sabinus reached out to Sunday and asked for the yet-to-be identified man’s contact, noting that he has one million naira for him.
“Please any contact to get him please I have 1million naira for him please,” the content creator wrote in his message to Sunday.
On his part, the social media user who uploaded the viral clip promised to be transparent with the donations he receives on behalf of the carpenter.
