Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Daniel Benson, popularly known as BNXN, has said there is no beef between him and colleague, Ruger.
He stated this during an interview with The Nation as he noted that he’s focused on his music and his journey.
According to him, the Jonzing World signee is the least of his worries and he wants fans to be aware of his position on the matter.
BNXN also said that he is not bothered about fans comparison the two of them and as to who is better talent-wise
He said; “I needed people to understand that he is the least of my worries, like on a level, if it is competition-wise, talent-wise, or anything he is just the least of my worries, this is not a thing. I don’t want people to think there is a Buju and Ruger thing (beef).
“I needed people to understand that I’m doing me and I am more focused on my music and my journey to even caring about another man’s thing.”
Meanwhile the singer-songwriter, had earlier blamed fans, saying they are responsible for the rift between him and Ruger that made headlines.
Speaking in an interview on Hot FM, he said Stan provocation is what led to the dispute between both of them.
BNXN explained stan provocation as a situation whereby hardcore fans of a particular musician makes demeaning or negative comment about another artiste thereby provoking him to react and compare himself with the artiste whose fans attacked him.
He said that he used to listen to the Jonzing Record signees songs before their beef and even admitted that he is talented.
However, after their clash, the ‘Confident’ crooner came to the conclusion that Ruger is acting in a sneaky manner.
BNXN also said that the rift is not something that keeps him up at night as he is not in a serious beef with any artiste because he is focusing on music and making money.
