Former Chelsea star, Eden Hazard has stated that Al-Nassr forward, Cristiano Ronaldo is not a superior player to him in terms of ‘pure football.’
Hazard made the comparison while speaking recently with L’Equipe, where he also insisted that former Barcelona captain Lionel Messi still remains the greatest footballer.
He said; “Individually, Messi is perhaps the only one. I loved watching the Barcelona player, less so at the end, but he is the greatest in history.
“It is impossible to take the ball away from him. Cristiano is a bigger player than me but, in terms of pure football, I honestly don’t think so. Neymar, maybe. After that, he’s no better than me.”

Famous Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Odumodublvck, has revealed who he regards as the greatest footballer in history between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
He recently had a chat with BBC Radio 1Xtra where he was asked to choose between Messi and Ronaldo, and without giving it much thought, he settled for the Argentina playmaker.
Odumodublvck said Messi’s determination inspires him, describing him as the ‘King of football.’ He also said the Inter Miami forward is a beacon of hope owing to how he tried numerous times to win a World Cup title with his country and finally got it in 2022.
The ‘Declan Rice’ crooner also sent a shoutout to Ronaldo for being very hard working but told him to accept that there is someone better than him.
Odumodublvck said; “Messi or Ronaldo? Messi. I’m a Messi fan. I had to put that out. King of football. Cleared everybody’s doubts – and he won the World Cup. After losing five or four finals with Argentina. That’s a symbol of hope, a symbol of determination. Don’t give up.
“I’m 30 years old. A lot of artists blew up when they were 20/21. I know how far I’ve come to get here. It took me seven years to get to this point, so when I look at Messi I draw inspiration. That’s why he’s the greatest.
“Shoutout to Ronaldo cos hard work, Ronaldo is that guy too. And there’s no problem if someone is better than you at something. That’s my message to Ronaldo.”
