Rema cancels all December shows over health issues

Nigerian music sensation, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, has announced the cancellation of all his concerts billed for next month.

The 23-year-old, who was initially scheduled to tour Lagos, Abuja, and Benin City, said he wouldn’t be performing anywhere this December due to health reasons.

Rema made the announcement through his Instagram story, and informed fans that he is heartbroken by the sudden development.

The Calm Down crooner admitted that he had been ignoting his health for years and its now time to recuperate. He, however, promised to return to the stage next year.

Rema wrote: “It breaks my heart to say that I won’t be performing anywhere this December. Been years of touring, I’ve ignored my health and I need time to recuperate. 2024, we go again, love.”

Nigerian Alte singer, Lady Donli promised her fans that the shows she will hold this December will be free.

She attested to being aware of how hards things are in Nigeria and noted that there will be no fee for her concert in Lagos state.

Donli made the announcement through her Twitter account on Wednesday, November 22, explaining that she made the decision after considering the hardship in the country
