PSG star, Neymar vows to return to former club ‘soon’

Paris Saint-Germain star, Neymar Jnr, has vowed that someday he will return to his boyhood club, Santos.

The Brazilian international who is nursing a knee injury appeared at Santos’ Copa Sudamericana clash with Audax Italiano on Thursday, April 20.

Speaking after watching a match from one of the club’s executive boxes, Neymar said his return will be sooner than expected.

He told GOAL: “It is nice to come back to my house.

“I feel at home here, so happy to be back here after ten years. Unfortunately, it was a draw, I wanted the win. I came here to support Santos and receive the affection of the fans.

“It was the club that gave me everything, that opened doors for me and my family, that revealed me to the world. One day I will be back. I will be back soon.”

Neymar’s contract with PSG will expire in 2025 and may consider renewing his deal with the French Ligue 1 champions.

Meanwhile, he and his girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi are expecting their first child.

The PSG forward shared the good news via his Instagram page in the early hours of Wednesday, April 19, 2023.

Bruna also announced that she is expecting a baby, which will be her first with him but his second child.

Neymar posted some cute pictures of himself and his lover showing her baby bump.

He wrote; “We dream of your life, we plan your arrival and know that you are here to complete our love, leave our days much happier.

“You’re going to join a beautiful family, with a brother, grandparents, uncles and aunts who already love you very much!

“Come soon child, we are waiting for you!
