President Muhammadu Buhari has approved November 1st of every year as the National Youth Day.
This was made known today, 2nd of July, by Sunday Dare, Minister of Youth and Sports Development.
The minister in a tweet said the President made this known during a Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday.
The minister also hailed the President for his commitment to the Nigerian youth with regard to policy formulation and the exploration of viable solutions to the problems facing the generality of Nigerian youths.
His tweet reads;
“Today, President Buhari in Council approved November 1st every year as the National Youth Day to celebrate, draw attention to and find solutions to the issues that affect the Youth. Mr. President as again demonstrated his commitment to supporting youth-focused policies. Thank You.”
