CorrectNG recalls that last Tuesday, police officers arrested Portable for refusing to pay the N14 million debt he incurred when he bought a G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos State.

A video which trended on social media showed how police officers manhandled the Zazuu Zeh star after he scaled a fence and attempted to flee.

Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed Portableโ€™s arrest, and explained that he only paid N13 million out of the N27 million for the car, and he has refused to pay the N14 million balance.

The police spokesperson further claimed that whenever the car dealer contacted the music star to pay the balance, he usually argued that the vehicle was bad.

Hundeyin had said; โ€œPortable has been arrested. He bought G-Wagon for N27m, paid N13m, and refused to pay the rest, claiming the vehicle was bad. We arrested him today.โ€
