There has been a fresh breakout of xenophobic attack in South Africa which has been greatly condemned by people around the world.

The Federal Government of Nigeria took to its official and verified Twitter account to react to the attacks on Nigerians living and doing business in South Africa.

The Federal government stated that the attacks are unacceptable and that President Buhari will meet with the South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa, in October over the rising attacks.

Their tweet reads;

The continuing attacks on Nigerian nationals and businesses in South Africa are unacceptable. Enough is enough. Nigeria will take definitive measures to ensure safety and protection of her citizens.

Last week Pres @MBuhari met with Pres @CyrilRamaphosa, on sidelines of #TlCAD7, in Japan, to
discuss this. Further discussions scheduled for October 2019, during Pres Buhari’s official visit to SA. In the meantime Nigeria will take further steps to ensure safety of citizens in SA.

    Xenophobia
    We fought with our brothers
We care for the brotherhood bound
We have been our brothers keeper
Yet they stab us from behind
Should this be called Xenophobia or Ingratitude?

Your flesh boiled for the devil
Your dark heart convicted for evil
You slay your own brother to quench your thirsty
Yet you feel so good rather to be guilty
Should You be called a Xenophobic Or a zombie?

hands stained with blood of thier brothers
    Fleshy lust to thier sisters
Their soul summons for more bloods
They turned out to be nothing good but an arsonist
Yet the expression on their faces is fascinating
Should they be called Xenophobics or Felonious?

    Their root is of evil
They fed on the flesh of their own
Their fruits is nothing but bitterness in our home
They broke our homes and our Bones
Yet the feel so relieved like they have the strongest backbone
Should they be called Xenophobics or heartless human being
