Nigerian musician, Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, popularly referred to as Zlatan Ibile has blasted music lovers who accused him and fellow rapper, Naira Marley of allegedly pushing Indigenous artiste, Olamide out of the rap game.
He made the statement after Olamide released a 9 track EP “999′ which has been receiving great reviews. Zlatan fired at music lovers for insinuating that he and Naira Marley were responsible for the ‘Mayweather’ rapper’s decline when it comes to releasing regular hits.
“999” boasts of collaborations with Penthauze Music warlords, Phyno, Cheque and Rhatti, alongside budding acts, Jayboi, Jackmillz, Sosa-E and Nilly.
Well, the EP performed so well that it became the number 1 album on Nigeria and Ghana’s iTunes top albums, barely 24 hours after it was released.
Reacting to fans reception of Olamide’s new release, Zlatan said: “Same people who said Naira and Zlatan chased baddo out of market !! Are out today saying baddo is the GREATEST”.
