People don’t believe I died and resurrected – Oladips

Nigerian Hip Hop artiste, Oladipupo Oladimeji, known by his stage name Oladips, has expressed sadness that people still doubt his claim of having died and came back to life.

Speaking about the ‘death hoax’ in a recent interview with Hip TV, Oladips insisted that despite the belief that it was a prank, he truly died.

Oladips apology

The rapper lamented that even with his efforts to explain his death and resurrection last year, many people still doubt him till his day.

Oladips said; “I came back to life to see all the chaos and disbelief. But what can I do? What has happened has happened. How many people can I sit with and explain to?

Because, obviously, a lot of people still think my death is a prank. Every time I tried to explain that it was a near-death experience and not a prank, people always show disbelief. But those who are close to me know that I died and resurrected.”

CorrectNG recalls that Oladips recently continued condemning the action of his colleague, Qdot, who announced that he was alive after reports of his death surfaced.

Amid panic amongst Nigerians, Qdot shared a picture of the rapper on his Instagram page, and wrote; “@oladipsoflife, my gee is alive.”

But this did not sit well with Oladips who decided to drag him in a series of posts on his Instagram stories. He accused Qdot of seeking attention by prematurely asserting his well-being during a challenging time.

He said if the case were reverse, he would not have hastily made such a declaration regarding someone he calls a friend, rather he would have waited to know what was actually happening.
