Pastor, wife welcome set of twins after 13 years of marriage



A Nigerian pastor, Abraham Adakole and his wife, Patience Inyamuwa Ikpe have welcomed their first kids, a set of twins after being married for over a decade.

The couple reportedly waited for God to bless them with a child and their prayers were answered after being married for 13 years.

A member of the family known as Evelyn Ene Oche, shared the good news on her Facebook page while congratulating the couple.

She shared lovely pictured from the twins naming ceremony which took place in Benue state last week.

“Congratulations pastor Adakole and Mrs patience inyamuwa Ikpe for the gift of this adorable twins.

Their names are: Emmanuel Ofukondu Ikpe (my Dad’s Name sake) and Emmanuella Ehikondu Ikpe (My Daughter’s Namecy Ehikondu). May God bless and keep you both in strength, wisdom and health,” she wrote.

In other news, a young Nigerian couple expressed joy in April after they welcomed a set of triplets following an eight-year waiting period.

The development was shared on microblogging platform, Twitter by @Jumskitchen who gave thanks to God for the blessing.

She shared photos of the man and wife whom she identified as Baba and Iya Ibeta, posing with her baby bump.

Her tweet read; ”The Lord that has the perfect way to restore has blessed us, 8 years of waiting for your promise. The triplets are definitely worth waiting for, Thankful for everything. Baba and Iya Ibeta are eternally grateful🙏🙏🙏”.
