A video which has gone viral online shows the moment a Nigerian couple were playing sports betting inside a commercial bus.
They were recorded by a fellow passenger who was surprised to see a couple engagingin virtual bet together.
In the clip, the couple were using their phones to individually stake odds and they occasionally conversed inaudibly with each other.

A Nigerian lady known as Linda, has revealed that she was forced to cancel a fixed wedding after her fiancΓ© used money meant for the preparations to gamble and lost it all.
She took to an anonymous messaging platform and opened up that they had been dating for eight years and she was looking forward to finally settling down with him but her manβs addiction to sports betting ruined their relationship.
According to the woman, she had known about his gambling habits but she thought he would change, however, she learnt a hard way that it was an addiction he could not outgrow.
Linda wrote; βGambling and betting actually ended my relationship of 8 years, when we were about getting married. I am a lady, I was thinking he would change, he plays the betting they call virtual βbabyβ, the money meant for the wedding preparation he wasted it in that game, I had to cancel the wedding.β
