Nigerians are demanding justice for Ifeanyichukwu Elechi Okereke, a newspaper vendor whose life was cut short by a security aide attached to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The incident occurred in Abuja on Thursday, whilst the speaker stopped to exchange pleasantries with some newspaper vendors around the national assembly.
According to him, some “unidentified” men obstructed his convoy and his security aides shot into the air in an attempt to disperse them but he later learnt that someone was hit by a stray bullet.
Members of Abuja Newspapers Vendors Association on Friday staged a protest in the FCT to demand justice for Ifeanyi.
President of ANDA, Benji Obute, called for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the officer, who fired the shot.
He also demanded compensation for the family of the deceased especially his wife.

Also, Nigerians outraged by the act, have taken to social media to demand justice for Ifeanyi who recently welcomed a baby with his wife.
He was set to do the christening on Saturday, 21st November, 2020.
While some are calling for the dismissal, arrest and prosecution of the officer, others are demanding that Hon Gbajabiamila must also be held responsible.
Ifeanyi Okereke didn't die because hoodlums "hijacked" the #EndSARS protest. Rather, he was killed in an extra judicial manner by police operatives attached to Mr Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila. Today, exactly 1 month after the #LekkiMassacre, the #EndSARS protest is justified.

During #EndSARS protests, Sunday Dare’s security killed youths.
They killed while ‘protecting’ these politicians. No one has resigned. No policy changes to prevent reoccurrence. Nigeria.

Femi Gbajabiamila said the security operatives shot in the air, same way they claimed the soldiers shot in the air on 20/10/2020… You shot live rounds in the air and then act surprised when stray bullet kills someone. How about y’all just stop shooting??!!

If Femi Gbajabiamila doesn't produce who took the shot, then he should be held responsible for the murder of that vendor.

In this 21 century,
1. Live bullets are used to disperse unarmed End sars Protesters
2. Live bullets are used to shoot crowd of News paper vendors who gather to praise our leaders in power so as to see wat to eat.
