A Nigerian man has taken to social media to lament about how the state of the economy has rendered him unable to feed his dogs like before.
In a video which is circulating on social media, he showed off his two malnourished dogs and bemoaned the economic situation in the country.
The dogs have lost serious weight and their bones were seen sticking out while chained outside his house.
The owner who was speaking Yoruba, appealed to President Bola Tinubu to do something because just as citizens are going through a lot, animals are also suffering.
He drew attention to the fact that food items and other stuff are expensive in the market and the people can barely eat, let alone feed their pets. According to the man, his dogs used to eat well but now have nothing to eat.
