The year will be ending on a new and somewhat positive note for residents of Ikorodu community as Super Falcons and Barcelona Femeni striker, Asisat Oshoala has launched a water project to enable them get access to portable drinking water.
She drilled boreholes for the community as part of her solar water borehole project in partnership with UBA Foundation.
Oshoala made this known in a Twitter post via her official handle.
With the move, residents will not need to depend on electricity to pump water as they would rather have easier access to it with the help of solar energy.
Announcing the launch, the football star wrote;
