Founder of Omega Power Ministries, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere has reacted to the arrest of beneficiaries of his scholarship scheme, Happie Boys, in Cyprus.
It was reported earlier that the two young men identified as Matthew Precious Kelechi and Amakor Johnson, were arraigned before a court on Tuesday, October 10, before being remanded in prison.
Happie Boys were said to have been remanded at an underground prison by authorities in Cyprus.
Amid the reports, Apostle Chibuzor, who revealed that he had forgiven their past misdeed, said he is trying to secure their freedom.
The popular clergy man took to his Facebook page and revealed that he sent his lawyers to commence the legal processes for their release from custody.
He wrote; “Breaking News… Apostle chibuzor sent lawyers to go and release Happy boyz from prison in Cyprus.”
