Nigerian rapper and lyricist, Dandizzy has stated that there is only one thing worse than being an up-and-coming artiste in the country.
Taking to his Twitter page on 6th of June, the Hip Hop artiste said being a Nigeran is what is worse than being a new cat in the industry.
He made the declaration while responding to music executive, Bizzle Osikoya, who tweeted; “Working in this music industry is not for the faint hearted or Emotional.”
Quoting the post, Dandizzy opined that working as an entertainer in the industry is mentally draining and could destroy ones self esteem.
He, however, added that he will keep praying for those who are just joining the music industry and trying to rise to the pinnacle of their careers.
He wrote; “The only thing worse than being an upcoming artiste in Nigeria is being a Nigerian, the work go drain you mentally almost destroy your self esteem but I go dey pray for you sha.
In another post, the ‘Oppress’ crooner talked about having limited budget for the promotion of his next project which is yet to be released.
Dandizzy noted that he may start going from house to house to beg people to stream his music, as he observed that he cannot compete because of his colleagues marketing budget can power a refinery.
“As budget no too dey for my next roll out nah to dey go house to house dey beg all of una to show love because if u see some people marketing budget e fit power Dangote refinery,” he tweeted.
